The brake cylinder is an important part of the brake system. If it is damaged, it will lead to poor braking effect, extended braking distance, reduced braking force, and even the brake pads will not return to their positions, which will cause the brake pads and brake discs to overheat. .
The brake system consists of a vacuum booster pump, brake master cylinder, brake cylinder, brake pads and brake discs.
Open the engine cover and you can see a large black disc under the windshield on the driver's side. This is the vacuum booster pump. In front of the vacuum booster pump is the brake master cylinder.
There is a small pot above the brake master cylinder to store brake fluid.
Brake fluid is a liquid that easily absorbs water, so it needs to be replaced regularly. It is recommended that riders check the water content of the brake fluid during maintenance. If it reaches 3%, the brake fluid should be replaced immediately.
Brake pads are wearing parts. The remaining thickness should be checked during each maintenance. If it is insufficient, it should be replaced in time.
Brake discs generally last a long time, but need to be replaced every eighty to one hundred thousand kilometers.
